Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Cinnamon Holidays International (CHI) representative. After a brief introduction, you’ll be transferred to Negombo, a charming coastal town located just 30 minutes from the airport.
Known as Sri Lanka’s “Little Rome,” Negombo beautifully blends colonial heritage with local culture. You’ll notice Dutch-era canals, colorful fishing boats, and serene beaches.
Spend your afternoon at leisure relax by the beach, take a sunset stroll along the promenade, or visit the lively fish market.
After breakfast, depart for the Cultural Triangle, arriving in Sigiriya, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic destinations.
In the afternoon, climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century marvel built by King Kashyapa. Discover ancient frescoes, mirror walls, and royal gardens that tell tales of a glorious past.
After breakfast, set off to explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Sri Lanka’s second royal capital. Admire the Gal Vihara rock carvings, royal palaces, and sacred temples that reflect the architectural brilliance of medieval Ceylon.

After breakfast, travel back to Colombo. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a brief city tour featuring colonial landmarks, shopping malls, and cultural spots. Later, transfer to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight.
